Skills For Care offer a digital learning module called 'Learning from accidents and events digital module', whch is a short course to support managers and leaders to learn from events, accidents and incidents and implement practical approaches to mitigate these reoccurring.

To support adult social care providers in England to find the time to undertake this course, Skills for Care’s Workforce Development Fund can be used to claim back £100 on completion of the course.

Hydration in Care Homes Resource | A practical resource pack to support the hydration of care home residents, produced by the University of West London.

I Hydrate Project | The project, led by the University of West London, aimed to understand and improve hydration care for elderly people living in residential care and was undertaken in two care homes in west London.

All care homes in Birmingham can access virtual training by downloading the BSol Healthzone Care Home App.The app is regulary updated and offers quick and easy access to training, free online and in-person events and links to frequently asked questions and useful contacts.
