Mencap, a charity supporting people with a learning disability, have created a helpful guide to everything you need to know about the learning disability register, which you can find on their website. You can find easy read information in different languages and there is a guide for parents, families and carers. You will need to scroll down the webpage to find the multi-language guides.

Download a letter that you can take to your GP practice. This letter tells your GP that you would like to be added to the learning disability register. It also tells your GP what changes they can make for when you need to attend appointments.
