Paul Johnson- Chief Executive at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council
Paul Johnson is the Chief Executive of Solihull Council, a position he has held since July 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Council's Director of Resources and Deputy Chief Executive, and was appointed Acting Chief Executive in November 2022 following the resignation of his predecessor, Nick Page.
Throughout his tenure at Solihull Council, which began in 2008, Mr. Johnson has played a pivotal role in delivering key projects and driving improvements within the borough. In his current role, he is committed to making Solihull an inclusive, clean, and safe place where all residents can benefit from economic growth.
Before joining Solihull Council, Mr. Johnson began his career in local government in Nottinghamshire and has a background in accountancy.
